Its not the russian factor that draws him to Colorado, its Patty Roy who he won a Mem Cup with. Im sure Varly, Zads, Grigo help but his connection with Roy has been something both have talked about in interviews over the years

Get Rads and Voynov from the KHL

The average NHL players peaks offensively at 24 years old.

Radulov will be 30 in July. To put that in perspective, Tangs is only 36 and a lot of people here were ready to ship him off to the Old Folks Home.

He might be a fine addition to the team but if it takes even ONE dollar away from working towards the goal of improving our defense, I'd definitely think twice about signing a player that old to a long-term deal. Especially one who has already shown a willingness to bolt to the KHL.

Players like him and Kovalchuk should be made examples of and given life time bans from the league.

So then sign him cheap and make his salary bonus-laden so if he doesn't produce, he doesn't get paid.
